This more a beauty tip which will create nicer skin and therefore hinder the picking. Manuka honey is from New Zealand and has antibacterial properties in it that helps dry skin, acne , anything and you can also take a spoonful to help cure the bacteria within. I used it as a facial and it's great. Another tip is smearing some on your face and then putting scotch tape or a band-aid over it for a few hours. It really penetrates it and the less oxygen your skin gets from the tightness of the tape or bandaid kills more bacteria too. Then when you peel it off it is like new skin! I did this over a zit that was refilling with pus every so often and then honey completely drew it out and healed it. It is even supposed to help with cysts. Regular honey is good too, but the manuka honey I bought is lab tested to have antibacterial properties. You can do a search on it. It is really soothing for picked skin too.
