I am wondering if there is any products that are cheap and that work well in clearing and healing up the skin?

You can get generic aloe lotion ( rite aid.. cvs walgreens) which realllllllly heals the skin wonderfully... I usually mix that with some neosporion and apply it to my wounds... the mixture makes the neosporion absorb into the skin much faster rather than staying on the top of your skin all greasy like.... as for clearing I am not sure what you mean...I am the queen of cheap fixes though.. so i'll try to help you best i can

Proactiv! And there are some newer generic versions of the same type of acne product by Walgreen's--I haven't tried these, but Proactiv has helped me enormously.

Tea tree oil...kills bacteria like hydrogen peroxide but DOESN'T harm the skin that's trying to heal, which means less scarring!
Vitamin E...comes in oil and gel form...I've always liked the gel--very similar to aloe vera gel, soothing and cooling and non-greasy.
Glycerine soap--not too drying, very mild.
Dr. Bronner's Magic Peppermint Soap--very rich, creamy, tingly from the peppermint oil
little round bandaids...perfect for zit-sized "ouchies"
Jason's chamomile body powder--silky rice powder, not scary to breathe like talc, nice all over the body as soothing "safety" coating
