i'm pulling an all-nighter for an accounting final tomorrow, and i keep going from my accounting book to my face, then back to the book..then to my arms!! this always happens when i have a lot of studying to do. anyway, i finally decided to write on my knees, before i got to them, "do not pick". and then i started doodling on my legs. weird, i know..but i think i'd rather do anything than study right now. anyway, i thought how cool it would be if everytime we knew we were gonna go into a long pick session, and seemed almost helpless to the urge, to have a pack of markers nearby and instead draw fake tattoos on our bodies. the idea seems revolutionary..but i don't know if it'll actually help. i'm not proposing this as a new hobby or anything, but just to use as a counteraction to the picking-hobby(insensitive phrase?). ok, i gotta get back to studying. wish me luck against picking!!!

hey, you. thanks for posting this. i think thats a really cool idea. i used to write on myself a lot when i was younger. mainly in places where no one could see. i found it a soothing ritual to lay on my bed and search for sweet spots to put a little phrase like my belly , knee, behind the elbow, the soles of my feet, the veins on my wrist.....i felt like a little patterned poetry goddess. thanks.
