This may not work for everyone, but if you have the cash to spend, it is definitely worth trying. You've probably heard of Creme de la Mer products. They are extremely expensive and are sold at Saks and Neiman Marcus. Don't pass on these products b/c you read the word "expensive." Creme de la Mer is infamous for its healing and rejuvinating powers. It's main ingredient is literally called the "Miracle Broth." It gets rid of everything from wrinkles to acne. And knowing that you're slabbing a $169 cream on your face may keep you from picking. There are different products from La Mer but the best two are the original cream and the serum. I have been using the cream for the past month and my pimples are gone, my skin is smooth, and my complexion as a whole has made drastic improvements. I read up on the products before making purchases. Articles on Creme de la Mer are very interesting. But, hey, this may not be for everyone, so at least read on it and see for yourself. good luck.

Hello! I took your advice and read up on La Mer. According to what I found, the serum has the ability to diminish scars (from picking). Have you noticed this? Also - Do you use their cleanser as well? If I try the cream or the serum, I don't think I'd ever be able to afford any other products. Do you think this is one of those works best with these products only thing, or can I get away with using another cleanser?
I'd appreciate any info you can provide me with. I'm currently on Accutane & my forhead & T-zone look great, but it's my jaw line that is the problem (where I pick all the time).
This is actually my first day on the site - I had no idea that other people out there had the same problem.
I liked what you said about how you wouldn't pick if you know that you have something worth $165 on your face.

I have heard from other people as well that La Mer products help diminish scars on many people. Creme de la Mer and the Serum should help the most, and probably the lotion and the concentrate as well. I swap cosmetics and skincare products on www.makeupalley.com, so I have been able to get some samples from people to try. I'll report back after I've used the products for a while. Neiman-Marcus counter folks are very reluctant to give out samples of La Mer products, probably because people re-sell them. Ebay always has a bunch of auctions for La Mer samples, so check that out if you want to try the products without investing hundreds of dollars. annamarie
