Aw I'm doing so crapply. Just keep trying I suppose. Although I made a discovery over the weekend - my cousin, who's the same age as me, also picks her skin. She manages to keep it under control but says that if she's under stress or bored then she'll find herself in front of the mirror for hours. But I don't think it bothers her as much as it does me It's still nice to have someone close who knows how I feel. Froglet - as soon as I have some money I'm going to order some samples off the cory cosmetics site Thanks for the recommendation! Congrats on wearing the strappy top!

Allo! Everyone's gone quiet, including me Hope you're all doing ok. I'm happy at the moment, really reduced my picking and my skin's thanking me for it! It's softer and smoother and only a few small red patches to worry about, but I think it's pretty much the clearest it's been in years ;D So I'm a bit more confident for now! Sounds like Froglet's doing pretty good, and don't give up Supervixen, at least you've got someone who understands now, that's always a step forward. I pick every day still but force myself to be gentle so marks are less red and I don't tend to infect myself. I used to pick for 2-3 hours on average, it's down to about half an hour max, often just 15 mins Wouldn't sound good to non-pickers but I'm chuffed! And your skin looks better pretty quickly after you stop attacking it so much: have faith, if I can improve then anyone can! Hope y'all enjoy the summer now, let us know how things are, chin chin Kx

Everyone's so quiet!! I hope "no news is good news" for you all! It's not great for me, I graduated Monday and was trying to be totally clear for the official photo, like Lara (have you had yours yet L? Let me/us know how it went!! I was bricking it!). But I had such a stressful few days before that I had a massive outbreak, especially on (of all places) my bloody nose!! And I had a few weepy ones on there and my chin for the photo, as well as huge under-eye bags due to absolutely no sleep whatsoever the night before- great!!! Couldn't cover the seeping ones with make-up either, so I looked patchy and scabbed before I even left the house! So it'll be a month or so before I get to see the photo, and then no doubt my folks will be handing copies to family members etc...all with me looking like a red-nosed corpse! Ah well, so vain *slap slap*! But I did enjoy it and the 3 years was worth it. Just hoping my skin will heal soon, my nose is taking the piss...have spots and scabs and dry skin and redness all over it and even leaving it alone isn't helping... Anyway, where are y'all!? Come back! I don't wanna be the ZT Team on my own! luv K xx

Hey Froglet, I'm not from the UK, but I've started a new board at skinpicking.proboards77.com/index.cgi because activity died down here and new members were having trouble signing up (the moderator couldn't be contacted). The new board isn't terribly busy yet, but feel free to join in. Hope you are doing well --Becca

Thanks for that - I have joined and will try to contrubute often. Been away for ages - think Ive been sticking my head under the sand about picking - not really been trying at all. Managed to bugger up my earlobe with picking (its gross, maybe Ill go into it later) Anyway, thats when I decided it was time to start paying attention again. Forums like this help me stay focused and aware of when Im picking. Hope all is well! Lara
