Hi all
I just had a bad allergic reaction to a face mask. I have used it in the past without problems and did not expect something like this to happen. My face felt a little warm right after I put it on, but I did not think to much of it. After two minutes it was burning so much, I washed the mask off. My face looked like a severe sunburn. I have never been so red in my life. And the places where I did not use the mask (around my eyes and mouth) were completely white. The red areas were burning terribly. I basically soaked my face in ice cold water for an hour. After that the redness has gone down a lot. It still burns a little though. I am slightly concerend about this. I was wondering if anybody ever experienced something like it? Any later effects to expect - rash or skin peeling?
Thanks, hoppe

hI hoppe, I'm sure your not the only one who has experianced that. I think most of us skin pickers might have sensitive skin. It's really good that you're getting this out... I'd be upset too. I think you did the right thing by cooling your skin off, and I'm sure it will get better.
