I'll get right to the point: does anyone else, like me, do this to their feet?

Yes - I start by picking at a blister or dry skin, but I sometimes I go on to literally peeling skin off my heels and toes. All the related feelings others describe in their posts are the same for me. I can go for days, weeks, sometimes much longer - but in one mindless night, especially if I'm overtired, tense, etc. - I can get rip my feet up to the point that it hurts to walk the next day. I really think it's the same problem - just a different site.

BTW, thank you for replying, Lauryn. I appreciate it. It's been a relief really to find that there's a website and support board for people experiencing a similar issue.

Hi
Generally I dont pick my feet but when I had a veruca I dug it out and it kept growing back.
I was really pleased when I pulled it all out even though it left a big hole at the time and bled loads. It really hurt too.
Things wont always be this way, dont give up God Bless Diane

My name is Em, I come from Australia, and I have been picking at my feet for about 6 years.
I stumbled across this website when I went on to Yahoo to search the topic and find out if I was the only one who did this to myself.
Sometimes i can go a few weeks without picking, but then one day im sat in front of the tv happily picking at my heels, until the whole sole of my foot is picked away.
I have no idea why I do it.
