Hi everyone, I Have only reached up and touched my face (and picked) about a half dozen times in 21 days. I know this because I kept track with Moratorium's skin picking chart. My skin looks great, younger too. But now, believe or not, after never really having any skin problems, other than those that are self-inflicted, I have raw, red pimple-y patches on my cheeks. The blotches are burning. I don't know if it is an allergic reaction or what but my cheeks hurt bad and I put bacitracin on them this morning. It didn't help. I haven't been to a dermatologist because of my skin picking and now that the CSP is somewhat under wraps, I feel like I need to go about this. It is getting increasingly worse. I noticed that I was getting flushed in my cheeks about a year ago, after I went to several tanning appointments. The ironic thing, is that I have not really been exposed to UV rays at all lately, so I can't draw a correlation. I highly doubt it is sunburn. Anybody ever have symptoms like this? Any suggestions? Thanks, Tina

It sounds like it might be eczema... have you been using any new face creams etc? Sometimes something like that can cause a flair up. It could be something as simple as a new washing detergant you are allergic to. Im no expert though, definatly see the doctor as soon as possible if it is irritating you so much. They will be able to give you a proper diagnosis. Hope you feel better soon, thats lousy that you are doing so well with the picking, for your body to throw a new problem literally in your face! Best wishes, Lara ;D

thank you very much Lara. I did make some changes and bought some "natural" skin products and the irritation seems to be lessened. BTW- love your nickname froglet! I have a little froggy, her name is Bella.

You have a froggy? What kind of frog do you have? I have two fat froggies called Spartacus and Aristotle. They are african clawed aquatic frogs. Looking after them is a good way for me to keep from picking! ;D Glad your skin is feeling a bit better, keep up the good work with the chart! Your good progress is an inspiration! Lx
