Spent my morning at a fire training center, using the extrication tools they use to get people out of wrecked cars. Ok, maybe that doesn't sound like loads of fun to anyone else here, but it was really fun. One of the hiring officers agreed to help me through the process of becoming a firefighter paramedic. Guess he liked my spunk. It feels so good doing something I enjoy for once, now that snowboarding season is over, and I've been spending too much time stressing over guy issues, homework, work, taking care of kids - I just get overwhelmed. Feeling this good, really, is the key for me to not picking. I can't wait to get my new career started, but I need to try to focus on school for a bit longer and try and enjoy that too, instead of looking on it as so much work (which it really is). I feel like I get so distracted sometimes.
