This is an antifungal skin treatment. It is called "Reli On". sold at Wal-mart in the Pharmacy over the counter section, with the diabetic lotions. top shelf of my store,in my town. It is a steroid "miconazole nitratre 2%". I have used a steroid in the past ,but nothing as fast acting as this.
We all have yeast in our skin and to pick at it only makes it grow and become a problem.
therefore a yeast infection can develop after long periods of picking the skin. I speak from experience.
SO.... try it. if it is a fungal infection, which mine is now, then it will clear it up immediately. it will itch like crazy when you put it on, but it will heal it and clear it up completely, if it is fungal.
this whole time I was thinking I had acne. No , it is a fungal infection. A YEAST infection on the skin. like cradle cap...etc....
so watch your sugar intake and take acidophilus.also found in yogurt. you can buy it in a bottle at wal-mart.
it is clearing mine up fast. good luck.
I started using it about 3 days ago.
"Let me stress this point to you "
when you use it, only use that one thing. If anyone out there is like me , I have a bad habit of putting 2 or 3 different things on my skin at one time. Now how is that suppose to work?
It can't . only use one thing at a time,
no other kind of lotion either. simply the "Reli On" only.
oh you buy it in a small box and it comes in a small 1 oz. tube. the box is white with blue on it.
hope you can find it.

FYI
Miconazole Nitrate is a fungicide, not a steroid. Look at Monistat 7...same ingredient, same concentration. If yours truly is a yeast infection however this should clear it up. A yeast infection is characterized by small weeping blister-type sores, intense itching, and sometime a yellow "crust."
Cradle cap is not a yeast, or fungus, infection. It is a form of eczema, usually limited to the first year of life. It is caused by an inability to regulate sebum. It clears on it's own without any medication; however, gently rubbing the scalp with a soft bristle brush coated in olive oil make help loosen the scales.

Yes cradle cap is excessive sebum that is caused by a fungus or overgrowth of yeast in the body. Pityrosporum ovale. Sebum is present in our skin normally, but sometimes increase in numbers causing all sorts of skin problems, not just acne. Usually during the first year of life....But babies don't have enough of a certain vitamin Biotin in bottle milk to help break down the fat. But yes adults can have the same skin disorder also known as dermatitis. Thing is I have used cradle cap medication on my skin and it helps, but wouldn't completely clear it up. It has calendula in it which is good for skin infections. My babies had cradle cap as infants, so I know what cradle cap is. Mine is a fugal infection due to over picking at the skin. and the fungicide is making it go away. you are right it is not a steroid. I have used steroids on it, but still it would not go away. It was weeping and bleeding and itching and hurting. I am just so thankful I found the fungicide. It is working. For some of us that are recovering skin pickers. We are not all crazy. We just can't figure out what type of medication is best for us. Or whether we have acne....etc....and so on. Once you start picking at your skin. It can get out of hand very quickly. Our skin is made to protect us from the world and germs. We are playing with fire to disturb the natural balance and protection God has given us. OUR SKIN. It is a sin to pick at our skin. God warns us of it in the Bible. But we all sin now don't we. And we have to suffer the consequences. and God knows I have suffered from picking at mine. He is helping me, cause I can not help myself.

sorry amylou, I didn't see your reply to me. Well the reason I think it is a yeast infection, is because it has responded so well to the fungicide.
Funny thing is I never have vaginal yeast infections. only about 3 in my lifetime. But it is finally responding to the medication I am applying to it. Thank God. This skin picking ordeal is driving me crazy. I know it started out as a stress relief mechanism for me, but I am tired of it all. I want it to heal so I can get a J-O-B. We are trying to put 2 boys through college with only Federal aid for one of them. we have 3 boys, one still in high school. And it is stressful. money- wise. We are middle class and taxed to DEATH. that is why I started to pick. Financial Problems. There are so many people in the United States that need help financially and we can't get any help. It is so sad. I hope I can get my skin cleared up so I can get a job to help relieve my stress, so that I won't pick. I fear I am going to die from picking my skin.
My husband knows that I am a" recovering "skin picker and he knows why I started it all. He looks at me with such pity. And I don't want him to look at me that way. I want to get over this and help him raise our children. He has 3 jobs right now. Did you hear me? 3 jobs. Living in the USA with 3 jobs. Isn't that funny. ha ha ha We are not big spenders. I watch every penny. I know exactly where the money goes. It is a rediculous world.
So I tried to pick my problems away. It didn't work. I will recover and be stronger than ever. I am not afraid of this Beast that is trying to kill me. He will not win. I am a fighter.
