I've recently begun therapy and have seen a psychiatrist. I've been picking my skin since I can remember and nothing has helped until now. I'm currently taking 150mg Effexor XR, .25mg Klonopin three times a day and 50mg Doxepin at night to help me with anxiety at bedtime which is when I have tended to do the most picking. I'm also using a moisturizing lotion called AmLactin 12% which helps a lot with my keratosis pilaris (bumpy skin). My pdoc tells me that my picking is definitely tied to my OCD and that's why the meds are helping so much. I hope someone else can benefit from my sharing this info. Good luck to all! Colleen
